“Return I have, I apologize for my absence my lady, I do hope that you will forgive me.” The blond Dwarf stooped, taking Rhuin’s hand in is before placing a gentle kiss upon the back of her hand. “It is wonderful to see you again.”
// I’ve missed you too darl. :3
The Dwarf had traversed long and hard on his own, it had to be on his own. The arduous journey had left him with much to think about, much that had not been processed, though with return to his home and his friends, he was very much ready to socialize again.
Settling in, the man removed his heavy exterior coat and draped it over the back of the chair he’d settled in. A pint of ale in one hand, good, strong ale, and his feet kicked up against the edge of the table, the flaxen maned Dwarf was happy to be back.

Fili greeting the Hobbit with a grin and a nod, when his lips parted to speak aforesaid greeting—he expected for the words to come out in a common tongue, reflecting Bilbo’s words, but instead of the common tongue they came as Elvish. This puzzled him. Curse the gray magic of those cloaked and hooded mages that came and went with bizarre and insane requests. With a small wave of his hand, Fili sighed quietly. This would be a long, very long conversation if he could not speak in the basic tongue, or a very short one if Bilbo decided that his response in the Elvish tongue was impolite.
“I-” Fili had not known Elvish, not very much at least. The sun was not going to be up for very much longer, but for the two or so hours that it would be, he’d end up either incredibly silent, or blessed with a gift of language he knew nothing about.
